Kyle's 50th Birthday
Kyle is turning 50 on November 7. The only thing he has asked for is to have his jukebox restored. He doesn't think it will happen, but I am reaching out to those who would like to conspire with me and contribute to a special birthday gift from all of his friends. .
What your gift will accomplish
Normally I would never ask for money and I feel pretty weird about this, but I think others probably struggle with what to give Kyle, and this is something that would mean a lot to him. For me, the idea that this jukebox in our record store could be restored by a group of Kyle's friends fills my heart. It is a Wurlitzer from 1969. It does work, but needs some TLC and safety upgrades, and a lot of cleaning.
I don't really know how much the repair will cost, I'm probably thinking in the $1000 ballpark depending on what depth we can get in our budget.
